Description
Cliford’s War and A.E.P. (alternative educational placement) is a book that allows the uninitiated and unsuspecting a glimpse of what, prior to now, only teachers, administrators, paraprofessionals and students in many of the inner-city, public schools of America must deal with on a daily basis. It is one school system’s attempt to provide help for students who are disruptive to the educational process to the extent that the other students in their classes are deprived of a quality education. Additionally, it provides an opportunity for boys and girls who are disruptive and those who think it’s cool to be disruptive, a chance to examine, objectively, just how ugly this disorderliness is and how damaging it can be to themselves and to the other students in their classes.
